#autists *can* lie. But if we do, we suffer (emotionally) for days or weeks from having been dishonest. Most often, we need to go back to the person we lied to, & tell them the truth. So, in practice, we lie very rarely.

I always thought #Spock too robotic to be a person. I have met few autists who are locked into *exclusive* and literal logic and reason. For myself, I glory in metaphor, maybe even poetry, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. ๐

Not so specific. What I have found is communities on social media that allow #autists to gather together, and support each other. No-one else will, perhaps because no-one else understands?

#Autists are, in general, highly empathetic. That our feelings, and how we show them, are different, doesn't mean we lack them. We're only a little different from the NTs.
For myself, I count our differences as a blessing. Who would want to be trapped in a world of duplicity and ill-intent? ๐

Every ' #therapy ' that you are offered (by NTs) is something that will make you seem more NT. These suggestions are not to help you, they are to make you less inconvenient or upsetting to the NT majority.

I think they do fit together in me, and maybe in other autists too? Regardless of how well we think they gel together, 80% of #autists are #ADHD too, so that's what life has thrown at us.
But my OCD-like routines ( #autism ) balance my butterfly mind ( #ADHD ), etc. For me, they co-exist well. ๐คทโโ๏ธ๐ค๐
