#OTD 1941 versenkte das dt. U-Boot #U331 unter dem Kdo. von KptLt. v. Tiesenhausen das brit. Schlachtschiff HMS #Barham im Mittelmeer, nördlich von Sidi Barrani (Ägypten). Die „Barham“ sank innerhalb von nur vier Minuten und riss dabei 862 Seeleute der 1312 Mann starken Besatzung in den Tod.
