On Nov 8, we honour Indigenous veterans who served with courage and heart. Over 7,000 First Nations people fought for Canada in the World Wars. Many returned home to unequal treatment. BCNWA honours all who served, especially the women who continue to protect and lead.

We honour Survivors and remember the children who never came home. 10 years after the TRC Calls to Action, much is still undone. At BCNWA, this history is close to us through family, community, and our office in Kamloops IRS.

Indig men and boys experience violence too. Their stories matter.

Safety and dignity are rights for all Indig ppl. UNDRIP, the TRC, Calls for Justice, and the UN SDGs call for balanced, inclusive action rooted in care and accountability.
