A picture of a section of pre-existing rock garden that I am overlaying with colorful rocks that I've hounded in my local-ish area. Eventually, the edges will be more defined, and the whole thing will be fuller. Might straighten the larger boarder rocks, now i see how messy they look lo
The colorful rocks, a bit closer to, in the middle of the last picture. Lots of reds, yellows and oranges, grey-blues, greens. All sorts of stuff, I definitely gravitate to jaspers and agates but there's lots in there that I have no idea at all.
Up a bit from the last pic, I have some bigger rocks too. At first I was trying to make it all as even as I could, but lately I've just been dumping them in and spreading them out a little. I think I'm accepting the reality of how much I hound. I will find more lol
The end of the rocks that I set last year around a mountain ash, and bordering the driveway. The backside is covered in leaves and other debris, i don't know if I'm going to have to do some management or if it will dry and blow way.....
The new portion of the garden I am dumping all these rocks into. It looks so colorful to me. Makes it hard to get to work on time, hehe... π
