A key mechanic of one of my #boardgames is choosing a solution to an obstacle, ex a rainstorm with an active volcano, and pitching to the other players how that would help in anyway.
On one hand, people can be dicks and just say no to everything so they win. On the other, I want to see fights. 🎲✂️

picked up Cat and the Tower on a whim, got it played same night. two things i love: the cards which ask you to "pet" every cat meeple on a floor, and the weird bendy different-sized walls which make every level a nightmare to build.

We often take The Crew on vacation but this trip we switched it up, with Rebel Princess by @beziergames.bsky.social. My partner still is struggling with trick taking mechanics but my kids are great at it. This are unique player characters and round specific rules to add variability. #boardgames
