I'm playing a Cylon Leader, and I'm set to win this. Food is at a 3, 7 civilian ships are on the board just waiting to be blown up, I've already satisfied my secret objective, and everyone lost their once per game. 😈
Still going quite strong with the Board Game Challenge 2026, this is my sixth game learned this year!
Tiny Epic Zombie is a bit finicky to setup but once up the game play was smooth though there's a lot of moving parts each turn so forgetting to use an ability is so easy

The upcoming King of Tokyo Godzilla game has some amazing art, but also a few chibi pieces. I painted all of the illustrations, but these were the most fun to do. Having made Chibi Monsters before is what got me the job.

Roads allows me to migrate a freshly produced offspring - essentially giving me two turns in one. Bow and Arrow improves my hunting actions, allowing me to better feed those offspring.

A game of Raptor where you're a mama dinosaur who wants to eat scientists or let your kids escape. Or you're the scientists trying to put mama to sleep or kidnap babies. Two players play a card, highest card gets actions, lowester card gets to do a special ability.
A game of Great Plains, also for 2 players. Put a figurine on a hex, have the most figurines on the yellow ones to get points. Use animal frens to put out your figurine in a special way.
A game of Gloomhaven: Buttons and Bugs. A solo game where you go through some scenarios, play cards to fight stuff, move around so you don't get hit and try not to use up all cards.
Our #boardgame collection has come to the point where too many games aren't seeing play. And yet I go: "Don't wanna play that, nor that, but oooh what about buying a shiny new one?". So before doing so I'm making us play everything! I like all our games but brain just goes meh.
