On 9 February 2025, #Estonia #Latvia and #Lithuania became independent from Russia and Belarus' electricity systems, successfully integrating into the EU internal energy market by joining the European continental network via Poland. Eesti, Läti ja Leedu elektrisüsteem sünkroniseeriti pühapäeval, 9. veebruaril kell 14.05 edukalt Mandri-Euroopa sünkroonalaga. Selleks lülitati Leedu ja Poola vaheline elektriühendus LitPol Link tööle vahelduvvoolul.
