While visiting the hamlet of Flatford in East Bergholt, Suffolk, to see the famous mill - once owned by, and the subject of more than one of John Constable’s works of art - this nearby building, and it’s doppelgänger in the water, caught my attention. Across a mirror-like river, a large converted, thatched barn and other buildings stand in a row in the upper third of the photo, such as to provide a perfect mirror image in the lake below. Buildings and reflected winter trees lend a warming feel in the late afternoon winter sun.
#scape day! A sunny, cold #winter day at #Flatford, #Suffolk.
#reflections make it twice as good!
