There was a 4th lot of kit buildups offered, which was all armored fighting vehicles that the original maker converted and used for the tabletop game #Starguard. I think only one or two pieces in that lot were used in #Battletechnology magazine.

The other lot that I was outbid on had one stellar #Battletech piece (among many rare kit buildups), though: "Hanse Davion's New Mech", from the cover of one #Battletechnology issue. (Printed reversed on the cover.) I hope whoever won it recognized what they had, and kept it unaltered! [More...]

The #Battletechnology #Battletech photo props came via eBay. Seller bought them at a yard sale their builder/photographer had! I won one of the two lots of mech models, but was never able to connect with the purchaser of the second lot. I won a third lot of #Macross Factory Base sets. [More...]

*Maybe* a #BATTLETECH #Rifleman photo prop for #Battletechnology. Difficult to tell from the issue photo. But the Imai #Macross Destroid Defender 1/72 model is one of my favorite 1980s #AnimeMecha model kits. So it's fun to have this one in its alternative #Battlemech persona.

A tiny addition to the #Battletech photo props of #Battletechnology magazine. This "Shadowhawk" #Battlemech is a tiny 1/144 #Dougram model, which appeared in a couple of articles. The model was included in the original #Battledroids game, in TCI 2-kit scenario kits, & was widely available from Japan

Today's #Battletechnology photo prop is a #BATTLETECH "Griffin". 1/48 #Dougram Soltic Round-Facer was ID'd by the right chest's smudge, and the left chest blank square. Model was also still filled with dirt & gravel from being buried for the shoot. Photo 3 shows it posed as in the magazine photo.

Another original prop model from the #Battletech 1980s #BATTLETECHNOLOGY magazine: a Crusader #Battlemech, catastrophically dropped onto a fragile telecom dish. Painted in primer, a missing head laser & upside-down fists helped ID it. A #Macross 1/100 Armored Valkyrie. #AnimeMecha

Continuing with the photography prop models from #Battletech #Battletechnology magazine, this #Marauder #Battlemech from issue 9's cover was identified by decal placements and paint smudges (thanks to my daughter's keen eye). It's a 1/100 #Macross Glaug. A legendary #anime mecha and BT Unseen.

Following up on the #Battletech #Battletechnology Magazine prop models I acquired: this is the specific #Warhammer #Battlemech prop model seen in this regular in-universe advertisement. Identified by the smudges and decal placements. It's a #Macross Imai 1/100 #Destroid Tomahawk. Classic #AnimeMecha
