It's all about Cassian. I mean, he's the titular character, I get it, but aren't we ALWAYS seeing two women talk about a dude who isn't there? (Cassian just was there, but nevertheless; there's other things to talk about, I think even he would say)
It seems like some high-minded shit about humanity and The Galaxy, but they're just talking about what she senses inside Cassian, because, if you boil it down, it's just two broads talking about a dude.

This sounds like high-minded editorializing on human nature & the spirit's indomitable will, but it's just Bix & crazy, white lady (who's also foreshadowing Mon Mothma's haircut in #ANewHope) talking about a dude (Cassian).
