Norvirus is a selfish, power-hungry, and treacherous character who initially appears to be a noble leader but is revealed to be a deceitful con-artist. Bering was once a part of Norvirus' clan, but he was kicked out due to his lazy and rebellious nature. From that day forward, Bering and Norvirus became bitter enemies.
Although Bering doesn't follow Norvirus' orders after being kicked out of his clan and forming his own clan, Bering still fears Norvirus. "For us, Tanukis, it's all about the gut!" Said Norvirus as he grabbed and pinched Bering's belly. "Now, let's see what your gut can do!"

Here is Tanuki Bering's human form. As you can see, he has the same bulbous physic as his normal tanuki self, but he trades his fur with human skin, big facial hair, and indigenous clothing. Due to his unhealthy eating habits, his massive belly never fits the clothes that his human form wears.
Here is Kit's human form. The outfit varies from time to time and from era to era due to her living for thousands of years. While most kitsunes in their human disguised, they would want to make their bodies slim to be more attractive, but Kit's human form, even way back in the Edo period, she remains plump just like her regular kitsune form. Big breasts, a nice round butt, and her signature jelly belly, she's proud of her plump self.

He has a tree for a throne while his belly does nothing but groan. He might look like a raccoon you see, but he's actually a tanuki. Bering's fat, and he's proud, with the raccoons saying it out loud. He is very gluttonous, but he's not jealous. Expect one fox who mocked him and said, "You should live in a box." Kit the Kitsune was her name, and she had all the fame. And so they were rivals, as they fought for survival. Their bellies were jigglin' while none of them were gigglin'. It's kistune versus tanuki, but who will the winner be? Well, nobody knows, as this poem ends with this show.

Bering is a rotund tanuki from America and the self-proclaimed Tanuki King. Unlike most tanukis, his fur colors are that of a raccoon rather than a raccoon dog. Bering is a shrewd thief who cares nothing for the troubles of others. He plays dirty, being willing to take what does not belong to him and attack any who challenges him. Despite this, he does have a soft side, but he doesn't show it that often.
Kit is a thousand year old Kitsune from Yokohama, Japan. She is a mischievous and playful femme fatale who loves to steal precious jewelry and treasures. Kit possesses brute strength, lifting up to five times her weight, and she destroys a boulder with ease. She has a hoard of many treasures and precious jewels in her hidden cave, but she wants to get a very special item for her hoard, an ancient sword hidden in Japan. For years, Kit has been looking for the sword, but she hasn't found it yet, and she will stop at nothing to find that sword.
