Two screenshots of https://bikerouter.de in compare view. Both feature a map view with hillshading overlays. The upper one shows the well-known, relatively low-resolution Mapzen data, the lower one shows high-resolution terrain data from Mapterhorn.
Eine ähnlich beeindruckende Arbeit wie Sonnys DTM ist @mapterhorn.com. Sonnys Daten habe ich vergangenes Jahr bereits für die Routenberechnung in #Bikerouter eingebaut. Mapterhorn will ich auch unbedingt haben: als Höhenschummerungs-Overlay. Screenshot: vorher/nachher.

Ha! I've been using #bikerouter for my a-to-b bicycle trips for about a year now. Now I don't even need a point B anymore! Love it!
