SCAM ALERT: got a text that I had an unpaid highway toll with a @bitlyofficial.bsky.social link that redirected to a domain registered in Guangzhou *today*. Because it had a query string, adding a plus to the end to reveal the destination broke and I got sent to the dangerous URL. #security #bitly

So apparently bit.ly links will now show a "destination preview" which is an "interstitial page that includes a preview of the link destination and an ad".
