Talk title: "“The Persistent Journey of Black Microbiologists: Where We Have Been and Where We Must Go”. Dr. Johnson-Thompson is a microbiologist, biomedical researcher, educator and administrator. She also serves on ASM’s Center for the History of Microbiology and ASM (CHOMA) Committee and ensures that contributions of Black Microbiologists are addressed and included in ASM’s archives.
