An art exhibition catalog of sculpture by James Rosati. It took place at Marlborough Gallery in New York. The cover shows a pale blue abstract sculpture of stacked forms, seen against a dark fence. The artist's last name is at the top left, in yellow.
A book entitled "Loie Fuller: Goddess of Light", written by Richard Nelson Current and Marcia Ewing Current. On the cover the titles appear inside a central black square, in white letters. Surrounding this is a colorful French poster featuring the dancer in swirling colors of green, red, orange and gold.
A book entitled "The Boojum and its Home", by Robert R. Humphrey. The yellow paperback has a photo at upper left of this rare desert plant, which looks like something Dr. Seuss would draw; tall with curving akimbo limbs. On the bottom left is a map showing the very small area of Baja California Mexico in which it is found. This part of the map is highlighted in green.
A mid-20th century book for young children, dated 1947 called "Fond Pets". No author or illustrator is credited. Designed for toddlers, the entire book is printed on cloth to be less destructible. The illustration on the cover has a green background, and shows a small girl wearing a knee-length red dress and shoes. She's also wearing a blue & white striped bonnet. She holds up her white apron with both hands, an indication she has been picking fruit. A curious lamb (whose head almost reaches her shoulder) is trying to peek inside the apron to see what she's collected.
