Border 2 Fire Evacuations Update Sun Jan 26, 2025 03:35 PM PT Evacuation Orders have been lifted for Zones 2389-A, 2390, 2464-А, 2465, 2466, 2544, 2545. Zones 2464 was split into two zones (A&B) to allow people to return to Pio Pico Resort. Otay Lakes Road closed at State Route 94 except for residents. Otay Lakes Road remains closed to all vehicle traffic at Wueste Road Otay Lakes Road closed to all traffic west of Pio Pico Resort. Please visit AlertSanDiego.org for the latest updates. All are encouraged to download the Genasys Protect app for information about evacuations.
Yellow evacuation orders (mostly Eastlake) lifted. Red zone has shrunk, Dulzura no longer red. Fire perimeter remains mostly the same.
Evacuation warnings were lifted, and most evacuation orders as well. (Most of the red zone is wilderness.)
Some roads remain closed.
Hooray for rain.
