Interesting history of #BoxingDay football in England and attempts to do it in Europe. It's popular in Belgium and when Italy trialed it did increase attendances. As I've said before, I would love to see it in Poland. ⚽️🎄 #Boxingdayfootball

I don't see it happening, but I would love for #Boxingdayfootball to catch on here in Poland. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day are more important here than #BoxingDay, with restaurants and some other shops reopening. It would certainly be interesting to trial to see the popularity anyway. 🇵🇱⚽️🎄
