I think it's #brexitcast syndrome. Back in 2019-20, Mason and co had to explain the manoeuvring to communicate the story correctly. And now they think it's the actual job
I remember his contributions in the BBC #Brexitcast shows.
The last one I listened to was when they were commenting on how a lady painted her fingernails with the Union Jack 🇬🇧.
Just me that finds the jovial / jokey style of BBC #brexitcast queasy? All all jolly japes discussing what may amount to food shortages / price rises for those that can't afford it coupled with carnage at ports and job losses. Waiting for Kuenssberg to high five Chris Mason..
Sad to say I’ve given up with the successor to #Brexitcast. @BBCPolitics may have deemed “Brexit is done” but it ain’t, far from it. Rebadging as Newscast is a failure of communication. Have a lot of respect for @ChrisMasonBBC and @BBCkatyaadler but this rebrand is just wrong.
