Round 1: A yellow and brown European Hornet has just been knocked on its back by the Red-spotted Purple butterfly it attacked. The battle resumed and lasted 30+ seconds before the butterfly flew away leaving the hornet grasping and stinging a clump of grass.

Round 2 was a furious flurry of butterfly wings over the hornet. Initially, the hornet had grasped one of the butterfly's wings. But 30 seconds later, when the butterfly escaped and flew away, the hornet was left biting a clump of grass and stinging it.
