Being young & inexperienced, some of us (ahem) had no clue what a heavyweight director Sandy McKendrick was at #CalArts, where he taught School of Film classes like “Acting for the Camera.” I just remember him being exasperated/annoyed with me during some of those exercises. Good learnings though :)
