Mute the words "Ondriya" (21:48,46:25,02:40:28), "Bastard" (01:00:37), "Yezhaigalai Cooliethozhilaali" (02:39:21, 02:39:57)- (Either Muted or Replaced) 3. Muted the words "Muslim, Sartharji" in TC 89:13 and Modified the words "Neet, Doctor" in TC 145:59. (No change in duration)
In VETTAIYAN, the Censor Board muted "Union" of "Union government". Using "Union" instead of "Central" is a political flashpoint in Tamil Nadu politics.
CBFC also censored references to Muslims, Sikhs, and the NEET exam.
