Table showing solar uses 13,813 acres in Minnesota and Corn Ethanol uses 8.5 million. Solar produces 710,250 miles per acre and ethanol 9,691 miles per acre.

At the #CEEM Legislative Preview this morning Rep Murphy expressed concern that solar was using farmland.
We use 615x more land for ethanol and it produces 73x less vehicles miles per acre than solar.

We could "gain" another 8.4 million acres for food by replacing ethanol with solar.
