We watched this documentary that just dropped from TVO about #CFNY radio and it brought back so many memories. That radio station, its DJs and their exploration of #punk and #NewWave in the #80s, before anyone else in Toronto, influenced so much in my life. #TheSpiritOfRadio

Quite good, but at 100 mph. Would be interested in seeing the uncut version.
Interested in knowing more about the signal strength issue. I grew up in Don Mills near the Scarberia border and the station was always loud and clear.

OTD in 1994 #WildStrawberries released their masterful third album. In the 90s, #CFNY had several songs on heavy rotation, including "Life Sized Marilyn Monroe," "Crying Shame," "The Way it Goes," and the title track, but "California" remains my favorite track.
