My first meeting in Brisbane got this trip off to a great start, as we met with Business Chamber Queensland to discuss some of the key issues facing the sector & how they’re having an impact across Queensland & the city, particularly in the run up to the 2032 Olympics.

Busy but brilliant day yesterday starting with a chat with Robert Hughes of the Landscape Institute. Then off to a roundtable discussion on membership organisations. The afternoon saw me back in the office in meetings with #CIOB members and then a catch up with Amos Simbo OBE of the BPIC Network.
It's National Careers Week and we've published a new Attitudes to #Construction Careers report highlighting positive views on careers in the #BuiltEnvironment. But more needs to be done to encourage people to take up jobs & training places.
