A unique likely one of a kind vintage 1960s 70s signed handmade black and white ceramic Woman Doll Love design brooch. Entirely handmade of a rounded rectangular shape with a white glaze ground and a design of a woman, or perhaps an antique doll, and the word "Love" in a heart-shape! Such an unusual design, and no doubt with a deeper meaning that escapes me, perhaps romantic of some kind, hard to say. In any case, the brooch measures 1.75" tall by just over 1" wide. Hand signed in pencil at back as shown, "Clark". Purchased here in Tucson at a local estate sale, but no further information about the artist available. Looks like jewelry from the Hippie period when everything old was new again, and fascinating! Excellent vintage condition.
