We cycled past #BababiDjinanang native grasslands. Merri creek Management Committee have done a recent cool burn, #CaringForCountry. This allows small critters to escape, burns invasive plants, allows regeneration of native grasses. And maybe encourage kangaroos to visit

Today we felled and burned hundreds of highly invasive Victorian tea tree (each stem could potentially release millions of seeds). We’re about 3/4 of the way through eradicating this weed from this culturally significant area #AboriginalRangers #CaringForCountry
