A chapter preview for my original story: Curse of the Crowned Chapter 1: Hunted. Original characters, original universe, paranormal romance, dark fantasy, vampires, weres, fey. Gilnor’s body tensed, all the muscles spiking with a charge of adrenaline in case she could actually see him. Halla leapt to her feet and charged towards the bushes. Gilnor bounded out of his cover. He was in the form of a stag right now, but she clearly knew that it wasn’t just a plain old hart staring at her. He dodged as she tossed a net laced with silver thread at his hind-quarters. “Really, Mistress Halla?” he asked in a mildly derisive tone. “You do not write, you do not visit. And then when we finally cross paths again your first impulse is to throw silver at me?”
