IAS officer Nandini Chakraborty is Bengal’s first woman Chief Secretary Kolkata, Dec 31 (SocialNews.XYZ) West Bengal got its first-ever woman Chief Secretary, with the current additional chief secretary to the state home and hill affairs department, Nandini Chakraborty, being named as the new bureaucratic head of the state on Wednesday by the state government. Chakraborty succeeded Manoj Pant, who retired on Wednesday. Pant, who was supposed to retire in June this year, was already on an extension for six months.

हिमाचल प्रदेश: संजय गुप्ता को मिली नई जिम्मेदारी, प्रदूषण नियंत्रण बोर्ड के अध्यक्ष बने Shimla News: हिमाचल प्रदेश सरकार ने वरिष्ठ आईएएस अधिकारी संजय गुप्ता को प्रदूषण नियंत्रण बोर्ड का अध्यक्ष नियुक्त किया है। 1988 बैच के इस अधिकारी को मुख्य सचिव के समकक्ष रैंक और दर्जा दिया गया है। वह इस नई भूमिका में मुख्यमंत्री के प्रशासनिक नियंत्रण में कार्य करेंगे। संजय गुप्ता रोपवेज एंड रैपिड ट्रांसपोर्ट सिस्टम डेवलपमेंट कॉरपोरेशन के चेयरमैन का पद भी संभालते रहेंगे। उन्होंने कमलेश कुमार पंत से प्रदूषण नियंत्रण बोर्ड की जिम्मेदारी संभाली है। पंत को इस पद से मुक्त कर दिया गया है।

हिमाचल प्रदेश: पूर्व मुख्य सचिव प्रबोध सक्सेना बने विद्युत बोर्ड के अध्यक्ष, संजय गुप्ता हुए बाहर Shimla News: हिमाचल प्रदेश सरकार ने मंगलवार देर शाम बड़ा प्रशासनिक फेरबदल किया। सेवानिवृत्त मुख्य सचिव प्रबोध सक्सेना को राज्य विद्युत बोर्ड का अध्यक्ष नियुक्त किया गया। उन्हें तीन वर्ष की अवधि के लिए यह जिम्मेदारी दी गई है और उनका पद मुख्य सचिव के समकक्ष होगा। सक्सेना मंगलवार को ही छह माह का सेवा विस्तार पूरा कर सेवानिवृत्त हुए थे। उन्होंने दो जनवरी 2023 को मुख्य सचिव का पदभार संभाला था। सरकार ने उनके लंबे अनुभव को देखते हुए सेवानिवृत्ति के तुरंत बाद यह महत्वपूर्ण दायित्व सौंपा है।

हिमाचल प्रदेश: HC ने मुख्य सचिव के सेवा विस्तार पर सरकार से मांगा पूरा रिकॉर्ड, जानें क्यों Himachal News: हिमाचल प्रदेश हाई कोर्ट ने मुख्य सचिव प्रबोध सक्सेना को दिए गए सेवा विस्तार के औचित्य पर सवाल उठाया है। कोर्ट ने इस मामले में केंद्र और राज्य सरकार से संपूर्ण रिकॉर्ड तलब किया है। मुख्य न्यायाधीश गुरमीत सिंह संधावालिया और न्यायाधीश रंजन शर्मा की खंडपीठ इस बात की जांच कर रही है कि आखिर किन परिस्थितियों में सक्सेना को छह महीने का सेवा विस्तार दिया गया। केंद्र सरकार का जवाब केंद्र सरकार ने अपने जवाब में कहा है कि जनहित को देखते हुए प्रबोध सक्सेना को सेवा विस्तार दिया गया। हालांकि, कोर्ट ने सरकार से पूछा है कि ऐसा कौन सा जनहित था जिसके लिए यह फैसला लिया गया। कोर्ट ने यह भी जानना चाहा कि सेवा विस्तार देने का अंतिम अधिकार किसके पास था। मामले की अगली सुनवाई 3 सितंबर को होगी।
