Starch test with Iodine, L-R: Foxwhelp, Yarlington Mill, Dabinett. Dark blue shows the presence of Starch which has not turned to fermentable sugar.
Graded out the rots ready for some pressing action next week. All fallers with dark brown pips, but compare the almost there-ness of the Foxwhelp and Yarlington Mill on the left with the starchy blue Dabinett, some of which is still on the tree and nowhere near ready. 🌱
