Moreover, for #Stendhal (or better some sources he used) considered #Sacchini superior to #Haydn, especially in the treatment of beautiful melodies. For #Stendhal, #Mozart #Cimarosa #Zingarelli were superior to #Haydn!
#Sacchini's difficult character/behaviour didn't help!
