Following up on the #CitiesWithoutNumber question about not playing Operatives: the section on mixing / adding material from other Sine Nomine games does mention using character classes from other OSR games.

OK! Months later, I’ve been reading the “premium content” for #CitiesWithoutNumber. On page 223, there’s a system for “Cyber Product Quirks” (where a line has a positive and a negative quirk) that might be extended to other tech. Could expand to style, cool, etc.?

Right. #CitiesWithoutNumber focuses entirely on "Operatives" which are, AFAICT, guns for hire in a sandbox. There's a lot of variety in their backgrounds & skills but ... if one wanted to run more traditional Cyberpunk PC types, is the answer to import the Expert class from SWN?

Today was a good day playing an RPG system #CitiesWithoutNumber. Those unfamiliar, it's a lighter system for a Shadowrunner type of game. It's fun to fantasize about taking down 'the man.' Of course I'm playing a mage. 😏 Roll it up! 🎲🎲

While the decision on which rules to use for any Cyberpunk open table that I run is almost certainly going to be between #CitiesWithoutNumber, #Cy_Borg, or maaaayyybe simplified Mythras ... part of me wants to use #GURPS or ICE's #Rolemaster -derived #CyberSpace.

♟️🎲 Today's #RPG begins the #CitiesWithoutNumber campaign. Session 0 was character creation and a bit of system learning. (A fight at a rundown Waffle House) It's not a super crunchy system like Shadowrun.
I'm looking forward to playing a doc/mage.
