25309 Stands in the holding sidings at Carlisle with a GUV for company. The Rat was later renumbered as 25909 for the industrial mineral traffic in the North West; it survives today in preservation.

I feel obliged to share a 'Rat' for #Raturday. North Yorkshire Moors Railway's #Class25, D7628 "Sybilla", is a firm favourite by many, and she makes a fine racket as well!
I last had her for a full line run, starting at Whitby. Fabulous stuff.
