It’s sad to see the demise of the class 455, a unit that has served well over the years. A BR built unit, functional, no fuss, did the job it was built for, and now slowly and quietly disappearing.

One last #class455 before we head for bed. Apparently, the 455/8 filmed here "with the bit above the corridor" are his favourites! This unit providing the full range of noises that will transport him back to this age when he's older 😊
