How has responsible and balanced breeding developed throughout the years?
It started in the 1990s with the Farm Animal Breeding Society, to the SEFABAR project in 2000 and the first code of responsible and balanced breeding, #CodeEFABAR, developed in 2004!
Today, Geena C., Breeding and Genetics Advisor at EFFAB, is presenting at the 2025 BSAS Conference, highlighting the importance of responsible and balanced breeding and how these principles are implemented through #CodeEFABAR.
