A breathtaking image of the Coma Cluster, one of the densest galaxy clusters known. Thousands of galaxies, each containing billions of stars, are densely packed in this cosmic tapestry. Light from this cluster takes hundreds of millions of years to reach Earth, showcasing the immense scale of the universe. The image reveals the diverse shapes and sizes of these galaxies, mostly ellipticals, a characteristic of galaxy clusters. The mysterious nature of Coma's X-ray emission is a subject of ongoing research.

A stunning image showcasing the giant elliptical galaxy NGC 4881 (upper left) at the edge of the Coma Cluster. The image contrasts the yellow-red hues of the elliptical galaxies with a bluer spiral galaxy to the right. Many background galaxies are also visible, highlighting the vastness of space and the diverse forms of galaxies.

Stunning Hubble Space Telescope image of NGC 4676, nicknamed "The Mice" galaxies. These two spiral galaxies are gravitationally interacting, exhibiting long tidal tails formed by their repeated close encounters. This cosmic dance will eventually lead to their merger over hundreds of millions of years. Located 300 million light-years away in Coma Berenices.
