First panel: Steven and Connie are both seated on the couch in the Maheswaran residence. Connie is holding their newborn daughter. Steven: “Sounds like they’re here. You sure you’re ready? They’re totally gonna freak out.” Connie: “Ready as I’ll ever be.” Second panel: Steven opens the front door, grinning as he greets the gems. Gems, in unison: “STEVEN!!!” Steven: “Haha, hey, you guys!” Third panel: Pearl is pulling Steven into a hug, and Garnet, Amethyst, Lapis and Bismuth are following behind. Pearl, Lapis and Garnet are all holding gifts. Pearl: “Oh, Steven, we’re so happy to see you!” Garnet: “Well, look at you. You’re a whole new man now.” Amethyst elbows him lightly: “No kidding! Hey, how’s dad life treatin’ ya, old man?” Steven: “Pff, c’mon, guys, it’s only been a few days.”
Fourth panel: The Gems are standing back now. Bismuth and Lapis are briefly distracted with something behind them. Pearl: “How are you two doing? Is Connie alright?” Steven: “She’s great, actually! The labor was a little hard on her, with the baby being part gem and all…But, hey, you know Connie— she’s a tough one, haha. Mom (*Mom referring to Priyanka) said she was worried about how my powers might interfere with her natural healing process, so she doesn’t want me interfering much… But the healing water along with her parent’s home remedies are doing wonders pain wise.” Pearl: “Well, that’s a relief.” Fifth panel: Pan over to Bismuth, who smirks, offhandedly commenting: “Heh- hey, I mean, I figured if she started glowing or somethin’, we probably would’ve heard about it, right?” Steven, out of scene, represented by a small nervous expression in his speech bubble: “Haha, yeah…” Sixth panel: Peridot is now in the front of the group with Amethyst, holding a large wrapped box. Amethyst’s gift is now also visible. Steven: “Oh! And you guys brought gifts, too!” Peridot, eagerly grinning: “Sure did! It was Garnet’s idea, so of course I’ve done extensive research to find the ideal gift for a human infant her age.” Amethyst leans over, teasing: “Speaking of that "human infant", are you gonna tell us what her name is, or are we just gonna have to keep calling her "the baby" for the rest of her life?”
Seventh panel: Steven opens the door for the gems, who all follow behind him. Steven taps a finger to his chin, smirking: “Oh, the name, hm? Weeeell, that depends.. Nobody's gotten any spoilers, right, Garnet?” Bismuth and Pearl both chuckle. Garnet grins, adjusting her glasses: “Haven't even peeked.” Eighth panel: The gems have all entered by now. Steven dramatically bows, gesturing his arms out towards Connie for the reveal: “In that case... Ladies and gems, we'd like to formally introduce you to…”
Ninth panel: The scene pans to Connie, most of her face covered as the baby is in full focus. She looks curiously at the gems. Steven is gesturing over in the foreground, introducing her: “Crystal Avani Maheswaran-Universe.” Tenth panel: The gems are all silent, just staring in utter shock. Lapis is the only one not completely taken aback, simply smiling fondly. Eleventh panel: Garnet, Pearl, and Amethyst all drop their gifts in their surprise. Pearl clasps her hands up to her mouth, tears already filling her eyes and falling down her cheeks. Bismuth’s hand hovers over her mouth, and Garnet brings her hand up and her glasses disappear into sparkles, revealing tears forming in both of their eyes as well. Peridot grins from ear to ear. Lapis just looks down at the main gems’ dropped gifts. Lapis: “…Sure hope nobody brought anything breakable.”

First panel: Steven and Connie as adults, back in the beach house, with Pearl standing in front of them with a cheerful look on her face. Connie is in the background in the window seat. She’s entering her final stages of pregnancy, and is eating a bowl of ice cream, not paying attention to the conversation. Steven, sheepishly: Sorry, “Pearl. I know it always gets hectic when we’re back in town…But it’s nice to be home, even if it’s just until the baby’s born.” Pearl: “Oh, don’t apologize at all! Honestly, it gets awfully quiet here, heheh. I mean, we should be thanking you for putting up with us, if anything! We’re all so excited to have you both here— especially now, of all times!” Second panel: Bismuth and Amethyst both jump in, Bismuth boisterously throwing a hand on Pearl’s shoulder and Amethyst pointing at her with a smirk. Pearl’s face is flushed with embarrassment. Amethyst: “Dude, understatement of the fucking century. Steven, you should’ve seen P before you guys got here. She’s been blubbering over your old baby books for weeks.” Bismuth: “Ha-HA! Oh, jeez, no kidding! It took me days to pry those away from her!” Pearl: “O-okay, well, I think that’s enough of that, now…” Greg pops in in the foreground, grinning at their antics: “Alright, alright, settle down, you guys!”
Third panel: Greg approaches Steven and Connie— Steven is now seated next to Connie with an arm around her. Greg: “That aside, schtu-ball, you two got any names in mind yet?” Steven: “Hm? Oh, yeah, we’ve got a few we’ve been thinking about.” Connie: “Yeah! I mean… We’re still waiting ‘till we see her to decide for sure, though, so… I guess we’re still open to suggestions, if you want, heh.” Fourth panel: Pan back to Pearl, now just with Bismuth. Bismuth looks confident, pumping a fist, with her other hand on Pearl’s waist (Homophobic dog image) while Pearl has one hand on her cheek with a wistful expression. Pearl: “Ah, well— I certainly don’t think we’re very qualified… But there are so many lovely names, I don’t think I could even narrow it down to one! I mean, let’s see…” The rest of her long speech bubble is mostly blurred out, as Pearl begins trailing off endlessly listing countless names, before Bismuth cuts in: “Hey, hey, those names are pretty and all, but c’mon! She’s a Crystal Gem! You wanna name em somethin tough! Make sure everyone knows not to mess with ‘er! Y’know, something like… A metal! Yeah, you can’t get tougher than that! Like Copper, or Silver, or— Heck, what about Iridium, or Platinum, huh?” Connie quickly pipes in: “Okay, Pearl, slow down— and Bismuth, love the enthusiasm, but I think we’ll pass on the metals.”
Fifth panel: a pan to the rest of the kitchen, where Lapis, Peridot and Amethyst are seated at the dining table, and Garnet and Greg are standing by the counter. Steven and Connie are still visible in the seating nook next to the fridge. Steven is growing exasperated, but Connie seems amused. Lapis: You should name them Bob. Steven: Lapis, what is with you and the name Bob still? Lapis: I dunno. It’s fun to say. Peridot mumbles to herself in the meantime: Pierre? Or Percy…No, no, definitely Pierre— but maybe… Garnet, holding Cat Steven in her arms, simply deadpans: Steven. Steven: Okay, Garnet, we can’t just name everything Steven. Garnet: I like Steven. Connie: “…You do know she’s a girl, right?” Garnet: Cat Steven is a girl too. Peridot interrupts, exclaiming: WHY WOULD YOU ASSIGN A SEX TO A NAME?! Sixth panel: A zoom in to Peridot, Lapis and Amethyst alone. Peridot shoots up, shouting: WAIT, NO— PERCY, FINAL ANSWER! Lapis, teasingly: Didn’t he say no “boy” names? What about Peony? Or Paulette? Seventh panel: Peridot whips her head around to face Lapis, retorting: PAULETTE? YOU’RE KIDDING, RIGHT? Lapis (ragebaiting her): Meh. I just think she’s pretty. Peridot: “PRETTY”? Seriously?! Wow, and they say Lapis Lazulis aren’t very dense! You know WELL it would be an insult to even ASSOCIATE that CLOD with Steven’s offspring, you superficial half-formed PEBBLE! (Amethyst, still silent, just snickers at Peridot’s crashout.)
Eighth panel: Pan back out to the entire kitchen. Peridot can still be seen arguing with Lapis, who’s still just in it for the bit. Steven sighs, holding a hand up: “Ok, both of you, quit it- We aren’t naming her after any Camp Pining Hearts characters. Anyone else have any suggestions?” Amethyst finally speaks up, and with a smug look, simply adds: “You should name them dick and ball-“ But is immediately interrupted by Steven: “Aaaand we are no longer accepting suggestions.” Connie just chuckles.

A full page comic with text reading glow week 2025, with six panels on it. Paired in two's, the panels are marked with days 1 through 3, each show Connie and Steven in various scenes, following a theme. Day 1 has the themes flowers and rings. Panel 1 has kid Steven and Connie on a hill at sunset, with Steven placing a pink rose in Connie's hair. Panel 2 has adult Steven and Connie laying back on the same hill, hands outstretched admiring their rings. Day two has the themes of domestic and wild with Steven and Connie sleeping along side Lion. Both panels show them all sleeping, with the difference being time and setting. Panel 1 is domestic with the trio sleeping in a corner of the house in their normal modern attire with a blanket, pillow and an open book.
