Drop the Hyphen in On the historical divisiveness of an unnecessary punctuation mark.

Thinking of my gentle friend Henry Fuhrmann, who was awarded the Glamann Award posthumously at #ACES2024. His 2018 entreaty "Drop the Hyphen in 'Asian American,'" which he wrote for #ConsciousStyleGuide, persuaded BuzzFeed and AP to change their style, with the NYT soon to follow. Thank you, Henry.
