Alternate version of Gargoyles episode 17 A lighthouse in the sea of time in which Elisa and Matt are tasked with escorting a convoy of secret scrolls believed to have been written by Merlin, but they are attacked and the precious writings are stolen, despite the intervention of the Gargoyles. The Gargoyles must do everything they can to prevent them from falling into the wrong hands. The mission to recover these secret scrolls led Elisa and Matt to Boston where they attempted to discreetly follow their targets to a warehouse at dawn. Unfortunately, the plan failed and Matt was killed before Elisa's eyes, while she was knocked unconscious by a 50,000 volt taser. When she woke up, the inspector woman found herself tied/gagged in an isolated section of the warehouse, where Matt's killers had thoughtfully placed a cushion under her buttocks. A bomb had been placed near Elisa, set to explode in 12 hours, which prevents Goliath and his partners from intervening to save her, as they will only be able to act after nightfall. Elisa will quickly have to find a way to free herself before the bomb explodes, otherwise she will suffer a tragic fate and be blown to pieces.
