Thank you #Leafs d-man Jake #McCabe, who says rookie Easton #Cowan is getting better and more comfortable every shift. He's right. He's seeing what we're all seeing. Cowan needs an extended run with #Knies and #Matthews. But #Berube has a history of choosing veteran journeyman over young guys. Sad.

Any hockey keener with a brain can see that #Leafs rookie Easton #Cowan has the chops to not only be good on the first line with #Matthews and #Knies, he could become great. Energy to burn, slick puck sense, and ain't afraid to hit. But coach #Berube will likely soon replace him with a vet.
