In the background hanging on the wall is a piece of embroidery from Thailand it has strips of colorful and floral fabric stitched on a dark blue cloth and has small white shell buttons and beads stitched onto it in the foreground is The top of the teak dresser with a bit of a small antique spool cabinet peeking out with a small spool of yellow yarn sitting on top of it. Beside it is a large old hand woven basket which is quite round in form. It contains balls of yarn some of which are peeking out of the top. They look soft and fluffy and are a mix of colors. Along the roundest part of the basket, the belly are three wider strips of the fiber it is woven out of. One in blue one in peach and one in green. And the foot is also made of a wider woven fiber.
I love texture (day 11 of #fiberuary ). It is why I keep my yarn and rug hooking the fibre in old baskets. It is also one of the reasons I love fibre craft so much. 💚
