I’ve wanted to do this - both relaunch #creativeCarto for community connection 🥰 and to be inspired and learn from all of you too 😍, but also because I really have wanted to be like so many others in geospatial who freely share information regularly

Ohhh two New Year’s resolutions:
1) be better at checking BlueSky 😭 my ADHD brain paths still need rerouting …

2) relaunch #creativeCarto in January - hoping to do it! This is my 1st time also presenting at Esri FedGIS in DC so will depend on the time … but this will for sure happen next year 👀

I likely can’t attend NACIS this year due to a conflicting conference I need to go to (😭😭😭) - should I record the presentation I WANTED to give at NACIS and share it?

I actually have many carto related ideas for sharing info. Should I just do a series? 😂

HELLO AGAIN! life is better than a few months ago. I think probably mid 2025 I will be in the place to start “hosting” #creativeCarto. It’ll take time to start it back up and re-connect folx again to know it exists again haha but I am excited to be in a place to be able to support it again!

NACIS slack channel does have active discussions throughout the year

That being said it’s great to ask because I have talked with carto friends the past year, that it would be great to try to have consistent #creativecarto again! Maybe getting the word out there for the hashtag on here is a good

Hello :) #creativecarto can still be a thing! What mainly happened is I took a lot of mental health hits the last couple years and was unable to maintain the monthly meet up organizing and comms for it 💗 but people did continue to share work via the hashtag (before Twitter went downhill), and the

Ok #CreativeCarto, how good are you at figuring out mystery projections? It's somewhere between WGS 84 (in Black), Mercator (in green) and Gall Stereographic (in Purple)
