#CreativeR3volution day 6 of 10: stinging nettle. I managed to raise one plant from a wild-harvested seed and establish it in my tiny meadow last year; now it has multiplied! Folks in the UK will likely think me mad, but nettle is native, medicinal, delicious, and I am very happy to reintroduce it

#CreativeR3volution day 4 of 4: I took my machete out to the tangle for a spin in its new sheath, and I found this entire marsh surrounded by hitherto impassible bittersweet thicket. Doesn’t look like much but there’s turtles and a goose nesting on a muskrat lodge in there. Also the birds are back

#CreativeR3volution day 2 of 10: my current mad science experiment, a 2% ABV live-fermented maple sap seltzer, 7 days old—I put it in just before I left for AWP—and this picture is taken just after discovering I put the wizard together wrong and sprayed a pint of it all over my basement
Hammering sewing holes in the plastic. I used a slightly open vise as an anvil
Place machete on yard sign as shown in previous skeet, trace it in sharpie, flip along the blunt side and repeat. Cut through the plastic as traced (exacto knife works), crimp, fold, then use hammer and an 8penny nail to poke sewing holes along the outer edge. #CreativeR3volution
