First I built a sturdy box... dado'd and glued to make certain.
Painted the face black and used a wood dye (yellow color) that made the pine turn a pistachio color (slight green tint).
Mixer installed and speakers connected... including a downward facing sub-woofer. cabinet also has two mic holder (flex neck) bases built in on the top side.
View of the back side... cord and power switch access and vent hole for PA power amp.
I enjoy building as much as I do photography. Built this all-in-one amp box with compact portability in mind... turned out to be heavier than I thought. Has a sub-woofer at the bottom. Sounds good. #craftsman #woodwork #customamp #speakers #ibuiltthis #boombox #soundsystem #builder
