DC resident here. This would be detrimental to the city. No city government means more gridlock, no ANCs, city services would be disrupted (trash pu, road work), congress would impose on schools, city housing, and public transportation. This is just the tip of the iceberg. #dcstatehoodnow #dc51

I'm disappointed about BLM Plaza.

Congress controls DC appropriations, and they have to approve all our laws. If they want us to rename a street, we have to rename a street.

Don't be mad at Mayor Bowser. Be mad that she's a just mayor, not a governor.
