Continuing today’s #DailyCup of #5Elements #tea experimentation with a red tea from Fujian that’s been blended with gardenias. I fully expected the tea to be mediocre- it came with packing peanuts INSIDE with the tea leaves! But it’s an actually balanced blend that’s pleasant to drink.
I chose today’s #DailyCup of #tea to see how its qi would interact with crassicolumna. I love adding a gram or two of crassicolumna to a pot near the end of a brew session to extend the session & see how well different teas mix. Kinda disappointed that this wild grown gushu red has underwhelmed.
Today’s #DailyCup is red #tea from Laoshan because I’m trying to relieve liver qi stagnation while boosting kidney qi. I recently started acupuncture again & the doc is convinced I’m going to become an acupuncturist or herbalist. So I’ve been set homework! Think about the philosophical reasons 🧵

Today’s #DailyCup of #tea is silver tips white tea from Nepal Tea Collective. They’re my favorite budget tea place since they seem to be doing good stewarding the land and Nepali tea community. Their teas tend to have weaker but very pleasant qi- makes sense since their trees as fairly young.

Today’s #DailyCup is a red #tea made from leaves usually reserved for tieguanyin. It has that tieguanyin minerality w/ the brightness of a red tea. Though this particular brew is more smokey- is it b/c the tea has aged so much in the past few months or b/c I oversteeped my 1st brew? 🧵 #GongFuCha

Today’s #DailyCup of #Tea is a white tea from 2022. Guzzling like a heathen b/c it’s one of the most calming types of tea. Which I needed today for my biopsy. That I didn’t end up getting b/c the dr made a mistake! I don’t have cancer and never should have been flagged for it! They misread my tests
