The first tarot card! I get a feeling that I'll be revising the frame and revisiting these early designs later on as I refine my style and figure out what look I'm going for. Right now I'm just imitating the original card's layout, but I think they'll get better over time.

I'm catching onto the fact that thirty minutes isn't a lot of time to make a clever logo :) Especially when I'm playing with negative space, the ideation process can take days! Integrating the F shape into a snowflake still felt creative and interesting.

A logo for "velvet engine" and a prompt for: velvet engine, a skincare brand defined by an elegant, serif-driven vibe which communicates luxury, promotes mindfulness, and feels alive through motion

+The colors here are all Pantone standards, which is something I want to start doing more consistently.
+Velvet Engine was a strange brand name to work with, but this logo makes it feel more like a name

-don't like the weight of the 'Petal V'

This was fun, especially the organic shapes! I ran out of time at the end but I wish I coulda got some leaves in there or something :) Not a home run but I can tell I got better at doing the curves.

It was fun giving the Y2K look a shot with this one! I sort of skipped the sketch stage on this one, so I don't think I captured all of the brand's vibes, but it was still fun to make a logo like this since I haven't done it before.

a favicon design for a fictitious/generated company called Brightforge, a VR headset brand with a solarpunk/hopful vibe and a mission to build emotional connection and champion sustainability. some sketches on the right on paper, and the logo in the middle. it is a green oval shape missing the top-middle section with two dots (eyes) looking up in the middle. at the bottom is images of it being used as a favicon in chrome

V happy with this #dailydesign!

+ headset w/ eyes looking up give "hopeful"

+looks like two stick figures with arms around each others backs(community!)

+ It's also a B on its side

+ learned that horizontal lines on a favicon need extra weight vs vertical

- forgot bone effect

Welcome to the first #dailydesign!

I'll be making one of these each day, for warmup and practice. Favorite part of this one was the pine tree shape, bc it looks like you're sitting underneath it. Least favorite part - way too millennial coded.
