Deaf Disabled kids getting excluded from deaf schools is not new, but it's something #deafed leaders need desperately to address. First, for the well-being of all deaf children, but second, for the well-being of deaf education. You can't play in the #eugenics sewer and come out clean.

Wow! I cannot do justice to the gorgeous landscape or the kind, caring educators and parents I met in Wyoming. #deafed is not easy out there but they have some incredibly dedicated folks in the “Equal Rights“ state.

This is the ultimate goal of the charter and voucher system: private education at public expense that can exclude anyone inconvenient to the school. It has its roots in racial bigotry, but its modern form discriminates against kids with disabilities, too. #deafed #deafkids ♿
