#booksky #DecemberReads was supposed to use this month as a way to catch up and/or finish a number of series that i had on my shelves and a (somewhat) accomplished that. of course, at the detriment of not getting any 5⭐'s this month 😔

December Reading Wrapp up-
It was a slower month with all the festivities, but I'm glad to say I got a fue novellas in and 1 novel. If I stick with Brandon, we may see some drops in book count in 2026 with those bricks.

A bumper reading month this month. Books I especially enjoyed this month were the remainder of the Thief quadrilogy (is that a word?) by Martin Ferguson and the Butterfly Assassin trilogy by Finn Longman.

Here's my December reads...

My favourite book this month was "The Fellowship of Puzzlemakers", a fantastic debut by Samuel Burr. It's a great contemporary mystery with a strong Golden Age voice that felt incredibly immersive. Highly recommended!

❄️ December is a season of grief, magic, and second chances…

Sealed with a Curse tells of six princes lost to darkness, a swan herder who still believes in hope, and gods who refuse to stay silent.

Would you forgive—or walk away? 🦢✨
