It jerks reflexively, trying to get away from the hot hand on its shoulder, but there's nowhere to go. ".settle do|wn. .you are | safe. .for n|ow." The familiar yet unfamiliar voice makes the Weapon freeze. ".you are ra|diant sunshine. .don't be fright|ened. .our emissary has | never shi|ed away from | a little mys|tery." The Weapon feels a second hand on its shoulders, and the ache in its gut vanishes. Slowly it twists in its seat to face the Ambassador once more as the hands fall away. The cracks on his face seems a little more prominent, both eyes now a bright and glowing blue, and the Weapon shivers because it recognizes a predator. ".don't worry. .every|thing you want | is already set in motion." The low purr in the Not-Ambassador's voice brings heat to the Weapon's face.

for some context, ilaaks is eido, and this is an au where the traveler stayed on riis instead of fleeing, and gave eliksni lightbearers. ilaaks is a lightbearer, and eramis is not.
