FRIEND is hiding behind Spamton while he looks at the phone in his hands. * It's main method of feeding is making deals with others to gain their control * Exchanges knowledge for vague future favors that it knows will be impossible * Guilts its victims for being a "bad friend" Smaller text reads "Tenna gained the knowledge of broadcasting "subliminal messages" into the Light World in order to bring his lightner to his world." and "Spamton gained the knowledge of connecting to lightners in order to be a better salesman. "Friend" is his benefactor, and he is supplied more knowledge as long as he stays quiet about its existence."
"The Purrfect Disguise" * "Friend" is able to take on the form and mannerisms of other darkners, replacing them when necessary. * Can mimic voices, abilities, and attack patterns Battat normal with the text "It's just Battat" and then Battat with FRIEND's face with the text "Unless...?"
Possession * "Friend" can infect the soul of a lightner, taking control of their body. * A lightner becomes a "vessel" similar to Kris. The artist's self-insert sitting on a desk with yellow and pink eyes like FRIEND. There's a small black heart to the right with FRIEND's face on it. On the left is a ghostly version of the self-insert looking terrified. Small text reads "The lightner can feel everything despite having no control" and "Possessing a lightner can restrict "friend's" freedom. Wrote up some lore for my Deltarune Yumeship AU, because FRIEND is involved and I wanted to solidify what its purpose is in the AU.
